About us

Welcome to the website of the London ACM-W Chapter — a vibrant and inclusive community of women in computing currently or previously based in London. This year, the chapter’s leadership team is formed by members of the Women++ society from the Department of Computer Science at City St George’s, University of London. The chapter works to build confidence and a sense of belonging through informal events, while tackling systemic inequalities and gaps in the computing profession. It also promotes research-informed cultural change in computing education. We plan to host speaker sessions, technical workshops, and school outreach programmes to inspire future generations of women in technology. Through close collaboration with ACM-W Europe and other chapters, ACM-W London strives to drive meaningful change both locally and across the wider computing community.
