Brief Bio

Liza Layne is an experienced Engineering Leader with over 15 years of expertise in shaping and delivering data and technology strategies across finance, retail, travel, and e-commerce. She holds a BSc in Computer Science and a Master’s in Business Intelligence and Analytics, which have been instrumental in her career as a strategic leader. Liza has led the development of modern, cloud-based platforms that power advanced analytics, automation, and scalable engineering solutions to drive business performance. As a people-focused leader, she has built and managed high-performing, inclusive teams aligned with organisational goals and long-term impact. In addition to her professional work, Liza serves as a London Community Leader and Global Point of Contact for AnitaB.org, where she champions diversity in technology across APAC and EMEA.
