Brief Bio
Poorvika Singh Negi is a data-driven professional with experience in commercial strategy, AI, and technology. She is currently contributing to the nationwide rollout of a multilingual translation platform at Anuvadini Foundation, which aims to promote inclusivity throughout India. She is the awardee of the British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM (2021-23). She pursued MSc in Artificial Intelligence from City St. George’s, University of London. From using NLP techniques for clinical coding automation to optimising train revenue systems in the UK, her experience crosses the boundaries between academia and industry. The ethical use of AI, inclusive innovation, and expanding women’s and under-represented groups’ access to STEM opportunities are causes close to her heart.
Ambitions for the London ACM-W Chapter
Poorvika Singh Negi hopes that the chapter becomes an engaging and supportive environment where women in computing can connect meaningfully, build confidence through mentorship, and inspire each other to lead innovation within their fields. She is particularly drawn to the chapter’s vision of research-informed cultural change and looks forward to contributing through cross-institutional collaborations and outreach to young women in STEM.
